It's summer time. I don't really thing I acknowledge that until it's almost the end of summer. I'm kind of disappointed with how this summer was. I hung out with a lot of friends which I usually don't do in the summer, so that was nice. But I didn't explore and find new things to do and new hobbies and stuff like that. I made a plan to work out more, and hopefully do ballet. I also need to start reading more "diverse" books. I'm stuck on the whole poetry, literature obsessed culture shit. I don't know, I want to see if I can get into adventure books and mystery books, as if I'm a kid again. I started watching more movies and TV shows though, and my appreciation for flowers has sky rocketed.
Also this summer I've been into fashion. Lame-o, I know. My favorite runway from last year, and this year, kind of, is probably Prada 2012
So rad. I've also had the pleasure of glancing at Tavi Gevinson and Petra Collins at their Rookie Road Trip. I'm celebrating my birthday tomorrow at there themed dance party, and I'm so stoked they're my idols. Petra's photography is dreamy and perfect, and Tavi's blog has helped me so much through high school (teenager cliche)

I also discovered Ghost World Comics and the movie Ghost world. And may I say it's probably the best thing ever. The movie itself made me angsty and made me want to just go on a bus away from the world to who knows where. It's great.
I also started rewatching my favorite show Twin Peaks. It's aboslutely perfect and if you haven't watched it I'm going to throw up on your soul. It's a mystery show at it's finest and humorist, and makes you want a damn fine cup of coffee.
Now here's some pictures that just remind me of summer.
My friend Alice took a picture of me and Amanda at the 500 days of summer bench. How romantic ♡
